Pump Station Cleaning, Servicing, and Replacement

Pump stations are installed on systems where the drainage field or sewer lines are at a higher elevation than the discharge level of your septic tank. Generally they have there own chamber just after the septic tank. Inside of this chamber is usually one or two pumps and some floats. The floats control the pump and the alarm system (if one is installed).

If you have either a commercial or a residential pump station it should be cleaned and serviced to avoid costly damage to the pumps. Pumps are very expensive to replace; proper maintenance could save you thousands.

If you hear the alarm or your system stops draining you should call Blow Bros ASAP. The alarm system gives you notice before the drains back up.
